          Position Information
          Essential Responsibilities: A. Provides timely second- and third-level support to customers of Information Services by resolving reported system, application, program, and/or job dysfunction in order to facilitate the clinical and business practices of WakeMed. B. Provides timely support of customers of Information Services by implementing required system, application, program, job and/or report development, modification, or removal in order to facilitate the changing clinical and business practices of WakeMed. C. Ensures quality by accurately analyzing issues and proposed change(s), efficiently designing, completely testing, implementing, and developing/distributing supporting documentation of necessary change(s). D. Maintains current knowledge of department-standard developmental and support software. E. Delivers weekly report in a timely fashion in order to keep the manager appraised of project status, new/on-going/resolved issues, future weekly plans, and threats, both potential and real, to the mission's success. F. Supports policies and procedures as established by the team, the department, and WakeMed. Actively participates in ongoing team policy/procedure review as assigned. G. Performs other duties as assigned by the manager. Non-Essential Responsibilities: A. May serve as a resource on project teams that require task status to be reported to Project Manager. May assist in the development of project plans. B. Becomes aware of emerging technologies by locating and attending education sessions/conferences and independent literature review. C. Assists Level I team members in developing technical expertise.

          Experience Requirements:
          For internal staff: Must have at least one year as level I, after promotion. Must have received 3.5 or better evaluation scores. Must have completed skills training for Level II and shown ability to utilize those skills. Promotion will be at discretion of the manager. Experience implementing and supporting the SIEMENS INVISION Patient Management application.

          Select Education Type:
          Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
