          Job Details

          Job Title: Inventory Analyst
          Location: Havelock, NC
          Overview: Position is located within Fleet Readiness

          Center-East, MCAS Cherry Point. NC. Responsible

          for expediting material requirements to support

          repairs of AV8 components, and carry out a

          variety of tasks and functions in support of the

          customer needs.
          Responsibilities:
          -Maintain accountability of and visibility of

          all assigned material as it moves through the

          repair cycle.

          -Work closely with customer asset managers to

          satisfy material requirements, identify material

          inhibitors and ensure that forecast

          replenishment plans are accurate.

          -Attend and contribute to daily and weekly

          readiness meetings/teleconferences.

          -Develop and maintain a weekly spreadsheet for

          high demand items based on data collected from

          Inventory Management Systems, meetings and

          routine shop visits.

          -Identify priority induction schedules changes

          and provide to Asset Managers, Business Office

          and Program Planners as required.

          -All other duties as assigned.
          Education/
          Experience: Must have an understanding of the internal

          operations of a US Navy Fleet Readiness Center

          (FRC). Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent

          from two-year college or technical school; or a

          minimum of four years related experience and/or

          training; or equivalent combination of education

          and experience.

          PC Literate (Word, Excel, Access).
