Responsible for leading and directing medium to large size, full lifecycle, high risk technology-based projects from initiation to close-out for Wells Fargo Advisors (Brokerage). Projects may span across various technology platforms, organizations (Cross-CIO), application teams, and/or business lines. Guides technology application teams as they review project requirements and develop technology concepts, design alternatives and or enhancements to existing technology infrastructures to meet project objectives. Drives the development of project schedules and the various plans needed to manage and control the project scope and budget. Those plans include, but are not limited to: risk, scope management and communication plans. Demonstrated ability to manage, monitor and control the project budget and effectively track and troubleshoot financial variances. Ability to prepare and present comprehensive project status and progress reports to various levels of stakeholders. May need to manage and lead other project managers assigned to scope areas within a larger project.
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of technology project management experience.
Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years demonstrated on-the-job experience delivering on-time IT projects within budget that meet the following characteristics: 10+ team members, budget of $750,000 or greater (labor), visibility to senior management, and cross department/line of business sponsorship. Experience must include estimating, staffing, managing, controlling, administering, budgeting, and executing project efforts. Experienced with project management methodologies, technology project deliverables/artifacts, Sarbanes Oxley compliance standards, processes and frameworks, in at least the areas of: project management, project release management, change management and incident management. Experienced in using MS Office, Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Project. Excellent communication skills written and oral. Familiar with technology timesheet tracking and project financial management tools. Experienced with cross functional team members and communicating project performance to various levels of business and technology leadership.
Preferred Skills: Experience working in Brokerage industry Project Management Professional Certification and or formal project management training Bachelor s degree in IT-related field Experience using Planview
